2005/2006
New Hampshire Lady Monarchs
The 2005/2006 season will be the fifth year of existence of the NH lady Monarchs program. Over the first 4 years the organization has made some changes to better suit the players and parents. From the 1st year of our existence it has been our philosophy to develop a program that best meets the needs of area youth in developing their hockey skills. We have come to the following conclusions, many programs lack emphasis on individual skill development and practices schedule are subject to ice availability, which translates into inconsistent days and times. USA Hockey, which governs youth hockey in the U.S., recommends a practice to game ratio of 2:1 for optimum skill development. Many of the programs that we have researched play 2-3 games games for every practice. The NH Lady Monarchs agree with the USA Hockey recommendation that it is essential to 2+ hours a week and are committed to consistent practice schedules, days and times. The development that your child will show over the course of the season as a result of being in our program is overwhelming. The philosophy of our program is very simple.
